Saad Qureshi, a Pakistani-born artist raised in Bradford, weaves memory, diversity, and belief systems into his art. An alumnus of Oxford Brookes and The Slade School of Fine Art, his sculpture, "Convocation," won a Frieze-led open call to create a site-specific piece for The OWO, celebrating Britain's diverse heritage and architectural grandeur. The sculpture in the form of a 6.2-metre-tall column stands in dialogue with the intricacy and grandeur of the building, while reflecting the varied cultural experiences shaping British identity today.
