Established British artist Richard Stone redefines stillness and motion, crafting sensual lightness from classical materials in his sculptures. Commissioned for The OWO's corner suites, Stone’s eight bespoke works form part of his ‘re-covering objects’ series. Here, he veils and reinterprets traditional masculine symbols—heroes and horses—provoking reflection on colonial histories and masculinity's representation in public art. These corner suites, many with views across to Horse Guard’s Parade, create an ideal context for the interplay between the historic and the contemporary.
