12 portraits of the Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment

In 2023, British photographic artist Ripley unveiled a collection of 12 striking large-scale portraits, the culmination of a five-year project with the Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment. These portraits, capturing The Life Guards and the Blues and Royals mounted on their horses in iconic London locations—from Trafalgar Square to Canary Wharf—were assembled into a bespoke boxed set. This was selected as the Household Cavalry’s official Coronation gift to King Charles III, personally presented by Ripley and senior officers at Buckingham Palace on June 15, 2023.
