A private tour of the hotel, led by a Heritage Ambassador – a guide who has lived with this building’s stories and knows which door leads to which decision. An hour in rooms that don’t appear on the public route: the balcony above the Grand Staircase from which Churchill addressed his staff, corridors wide enough for message-bearing bicycles, the offices where Secretaries of State took the calls of a century.
